The Practice
Our beautiful, new, state of the art Dental & Aesthetics clinic was established as a result of many years spent in the dental industry.
Ethos
To offer our patients a relaxing, stress-free environment where they can have a chat, a cup of tea, coffee and chill. We want patients to feel at home, confident, safe and well looked after at all times, within a professional dental environment.
Technology
At Morpho we offer a full range of treatments in a comfortable spa-like environment. We use the most up to date leading edge technology such as:
CBCT scanner (Cone Beam Computed Tomography)
where the x-rays are divergent, forming a cone. CBCT scans are becoming increasing important in the treatment, planning and diagnosis for many treatments including Impants. This provides accurate 3D scan of the hard tissue structure of your mouth
Pan oral X-ray facilities
which allows our dentists to take a panoramic scanning dental xray of your upper and lower jaw thus giving more accurate view of your mouth. This is a 2-dimensional view of a half circle from ear to ear. Panoramic X-rays are important diagnostic tool and extremely valuable for planning future dental treatments.
iTero scanner
is a digital intraoral scanner that produces a quick colourised image to show you the patient how your teeth may look after specific treatments. This is a fantastic way to see what the outcome of Invisalign treatment could be.
Our Founder
Dr Alan Maxwell, our founder, has a wealth of experience in dentistry, running large dental clinics around the world offering a wide range of dental treatments to celebrities and royalty. He has gained several post graduate qualifications, including registration on the Dental Specialist list as a Periodontist and The Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh).
On returning to the UK, Alan developed his knowledge and skills accumulating years of experience working in many of the most prominent Dental Practices in Scotland as both Specialist Periodontist and as a Cosmetic dentist.
Alan is a very gentle natured, down to earth person, who focuses on his patients needs and their overall health. He is described by many of his patients and colleagues as a 'true gentleman’.

Our Vision at Morpho
Alan’s vision was to open a private clinic where everyone would be welcomed, treated as an individual and made to special.
He wanted to ensure his patients felt comfortable whilst gaining more of a spa experience rather than the traditional dental experience surroundings.
He wanted to create a friendly, open, bright and happy environment with a professional team. A dental space where people would feel relaxed, have a chat with our clinical experts and receive the very highest levels of Dental excellence.
A luxurious aesthetic, coupled with just the right level of friendly, welcoming ambiance plus a pampering ‘spa aroma’ were all very important to the new practice and what Alan wanted to truly set us apart; and make our patients feel extra special.
Often people remember the ‘smell’ of the dentist from a previous time in their lives and the thought can still haunt many. Our practice offers the complete antithesis of those days some of us would prefer to forget – a patience experience like no other.
Metamorphosis
We worked hard to ensure our clinic to look inviting, luxurious, contemporary, bathed in light – a special, welcoming space for all.
The design and branding of the practice was to reflect a new beginning, a new positive you with a radiant smile.
The blossom tree design with beautiful gold and blue butterflies make you feel lighter, calmer, dreamy and more relaxed.
As a caterpillar goes through a metamorphosis into a beautiful butterfly, so too can our patients change and blossom through their smile.
Enhancing your smile can help change and boost your confidence. We have watched patients who have previously for years held their hands over their mouths in photographs, ruining their memories of special occasions, or hiding in the background hoping the camera would not catch their crooked teeth or large gaps in their mouths - to people who smile in every photo and want to be front and centre at large gatherings.
Social media becomes their friend at every opportunity to smile
